Happy Birthday Awaken Ananda!

Two years ago today, I hit “publish” on the Awaken Ananda website. I vividly remember that moment. It was full of joy, peace, excitement, fear, and surrender. I knew in my heart it was my path, and my monkey mind was full of doubt.

Thank you to the Universe, my family, my friends and thank you to my clients. You made this dream a reality. Today, Awaken Ananda is thriving!

An-nan- da in Sanskrit means your highest potential and ultimate bliss. Every day, I wake up and have the honor to empower women to awaken their magnificence. I have a life I love. I celebrate the gift to be of service.

Just before Awaken Ananda was born, I had spent a year in my birthplace, India. Much of that year was solo soul-searching. I had experienced a hard crash to the bottom. I was filled with rage. I felt no joy. Mother India brought me to my knees. I had no choice but to look at myself brutally, painfully and honestly. I was knee-deep in the “dark night of the soul.”

India prepared me to meet my destiny. When I came back to the US, I knew I could no longer be the lawyer I had been. I had changed and been reborn.

Sometimes to create something new, we must destroy the old.

I look back with immense gratitude for the incredible gifts India bestowed on me. I gained so much during what felt like my darkest hours. I learned how to prevent my life from being dragged to the beat of someone else’s drum.

Thank you deeply for allowing Awaken Ananda into your lives. The magical thing about sharing your gifts is that it will connect you to the world again. It will connect you with love again.

You too can dance your own dance. You can set yourself free. You are worthy, you are loved and you are magnificent. A thousand blessings to you.
