Why is the Wesak full moon so powerful?
Wesak, AKA the Buddha Full Moon is widely celebrated throughout the East as the Festival of the Buddha.
Wesak, celebrates the birth, enlightenment and death of the historical Buddha, born Siddharta Gautama.
Buddha was a spiritual teacher who lived in India between the sixth and fourth centuries BC.
For many in tune with the esoteric (mystery) teachings of spirituality, this full Moon in May it is the high point of the spiritual year. We are graced with forces of enlightenment that flow from the higher worlds into the mind of humanity.
At the exact moment of the full moon, the Buddha is said to return momentarily to Earth in a valley in the Himalayas. Some have dreamt of being present at the ceremony.
"The Christ stands before the Buddha and, in a moment brimming with vitality and significance, receives the Buddha’s blessing on behalf of humanity, before turning and radiating this blessing out to the assembled gathering and to all human beings." - Urban Dharma
As we continue into this pandemic, a new world is now being created by many. Without a doubt, an awakening is active.
So many of us know there is "something more" that we can see from the eye of the soul. The new light is on its way. The annual Vesak blessing plays a crucial role in the coming of that light.
Bask in the Light of the moon. Recite the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. Meditate on any of the 84,000 teachings of the Buddha on how to be happy and free from problems.
I believe in you. I believe in us. May you grow to know the divine multi-dimensional being you are.
